Girl Scouts of Central Illinois is excited to host Desserts First, on Thursday, September 29, 2022
at the Par-A-Dice Hotel, 21 Blackjack Blvd., East Peoria, IL. This fun-filled evening will feature a
culinary competition with local chefs creating desserts inspired by Girl Scout cookies, music,
dinner stations, auction items, and a cash bar featuring a specialty cocktail.
We invite you to help us support this important fundraiser for Girl Scouts of Central Illinois
as a sponsor of Desserts First. Funds raised through the event will support local Girl Scout
programs that teach essential life skills in STEM, financial literacy, civic engagement/advocacy,
outdoor education, health/wellness, and the arts.
With over 13,000 members and 4,000 volunteers across GSCI, your generous financial support is essential in helping us provide and expand these programs that cultivate girls’ inherent leadership potential, confidence, and character to shape the future.
