Join us for the 17th Diamonds & Desserts!
Girl Scouts of Central Illinois proudly presents the 17th Diamonds & Desserts, its signature event to raise awareness and funds in the greater Decatur area. We will gather again around our Flora Gems Sweet Surprise Wall, delicious cookie-inspired desserts competition among local chefs, signature cookie-inspired cocktail, sincere recognition of our honoree, and more!
This year we will recognize Melanie Schelling - State Farm Insurance Agent and owner of Melanie Schelling Insurance Agency - as our 2024 Diamond Honoree. Melanie is a tremendous champion of Girl Scouts and our community, serving as an outstanding leader for girls. Funds raised through the event will support local Girl Scout programs that teach essential life skills in STEM, financial literacy, civic engagement/advocacy, health/wellness, and the arts.
